I started with Davita for private pilates sessions after a shoulder injury that was only made worse by a personal trainer that wanted to "push me". Yes, I wanted to be pushed - to improve my strength, my physique, and my overall health, but safely. Davita paid close attention to my physical state and carefully crafted each session to challenge me for improvement while protecting my injuries. She has a keen eye for proper form (thus avoiding injury and maximizing results) and follows with integrity, the true pilates practice. I can only speak about Davita's private classes: they are amazing! I've had chronic (about 3 years) shoulder, neck, and back pain and after her privates, I wake up the next morning completely pain-free. (I cannot say this for other types of bodywork.) Not only do I feel better, but I also feel stronger and taller. Her classes are challenging yet fun. She's a great conversationalist and really listens to you. During her privates, I felt that she thoughtfully considered what I was saying as well as watched how I was moving, and she tailored sessions just for my needs.

I 100% recommend Davita's pilates sesssions!! I genuinely look forward to the workouts because they are fast-paced, fun, and provide weight loss/stretching/strength building benefits all at the same time. I am active in running, weight lifting, and circuit training, At first, I doubted the effectiveness of pilates compared to these more high impact workouts, but with Davita's sessions I am extremely challenged - sweating and exerting energy the entire session. I think adding pilates sessions such as this to your workout regimen is a must!
First off, Pilates is the best thing I have ever done for my body. That being said, after a very long search of for a teacher that best fit my style (after my previous instructor had a child) I found my match.
She listened to what parts of my body and core I was looking to improve. And after a couple of months, I have noticed the difference. I have been doing Pilates for about a year and I enjoy the way that Davita continuously challenges me but, also keeps it fresh and different. She is up on the latest procedures and techniques, but also knows and recognizes when you need to take it a little easier and stretch it out.
She comes highly trained and highly recommended!
